Throughout each lockdown we have regularly communicated the steps we have taken in the practice to keep our patients and staff safe. These include (to name just a few):
Updated procedures and protocols that were routinely part of safe delivery of dental care, are already well developed and practiced here.
The entire team wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment as appropriate.
Adherence to strict social distancing.
Introducing longer appointments to allow for an enhanced decontamination of each surgery between patients.
Most of our team have received the first dose of their Covid-19 vaccine in line with Government guidelines on primary care workers
Improved ventilation in all surgeries.
Whilst we have no specific end date for this current lockdown, it is fair to say that it will last for the foreseeable future.
We wanted to reassure you that we are here to help you protect your dental health during this period by:
Remaining open for routine and emergency appointments.
Always being available at the end of the phone to advise on any dental issues (or even just to say hello).
Offering a range of dental health products in our online shop to help keep your mouth healthy (click here to visit the shop).
Having an online guide what to do if you have a dental emergency during lockdown which is packed full of advice on what to do if you cannot come to the practice and have a dental emergency. Click here to read it.
Sending regular updates regarding Covid-19 and your dental health.
Today, in our Monday Moment on the JL Dental Care Facebook page (click here later today to find it and gives us a like too!) we will post a guide on the best dental hygiene techniques to help keep you dentally fit. We shall also post it on the blog section of our website.
Please feel free to call us on 020 8958 0136 if you have any concerns regarding your dental health.
Whilst it may seem difficult to remain positive during this period, we are encouraged by the rollout of the vaccine which appears to be the most effective way of returning us to some form of normality. Until we next see you in the practice stay safe and healthy.
Jonathan Lever and The JL Dental Care Team.
